Office of Vice President Elias Camsek Chin

A Rengeleked el Soldau

Message from Vice President Chin to Palau's Sons and Daughters in the Military:

Thank you for your hard work, ambition, and dedication.

I know from my own experience how difficult it is to go through those daily struggles far away from home. But I also know that your sacrifice is worth it, and I am so proud of your determination to work together for an important cause, and to better yourselves as individuals.

All of your accomplishments are Palau's accomplishments, and I want to hear about them - please keep in touch while you are away. And if you get a chance to come home to visit I want to hear from you in person - please stop by my office.

I also hope that some day you will come home to stay and we can continue to work together to make our island home an even better place than it already is.

I am so proud of you. A Dios bolobengked el rokiu.

Keep in touch

We would really like to be able to keep in contact with you. Especially as your time in the military nears its end, please let us know what your future plans are - we can really use people with your experience, discipline and knowledge here at home.

One easy way to keep in touch is by signing our guestbook . Let us first assure you that the information you provide will not be shared with any individual or organization. This information is only for the Office of the Vice President to use to keep in contact with you. We would like to know a little bit of your background. In the comments section you can include your: name, rank, how long you have served, etc. We would also appreciate it if you would indicate both your military and permanent home address. So please send us a note and we will definitely be in touch.

Regarding security clearances, regulations have recently changed for Palauans and citizens of FSM & RMI. Read the original here, then read the changes here.
