One of the first actions I took as Vice President was to establish a website for my office. My intention for having a website was to share with Palauans both in and out of Palau information about our government and events taking place throughout Palau. I also wanted to be able to hear comments and opinions about what we are doing, how we are doing it, and what we should do differently to improve our country. The website has proven to be the right medium to have this dialogue, particularly for Palauans living abroad.
I am pleased and overwhelmed by the number of responses I have received. Because of you, my website has proven to be an excellent way to share and exchange information in a timely manner. Your comments have helped me and my office to be sensitive and responsive to matters of importance to you, your families, our government, and our nation. I do appreciate your enormous response and I thank you for your support and for sharing your comments with me.
